Gwen Humerickhouse: Hi there, Friend! I am so happy you found your way here to this little corner of the web where we fearlessly dive into updating our homes! My name is Gwen and my passion for home design stems from the indescribable peace I feel when being in a well-designed room. Whether we recognize it or not, our homes play a huge role in our everyday lives. (Obviously, because they keep us safe) but they can improve our emotional well-being! I don’t have research to back that claim. but I challenge you to clean your counter light a candle and tell me you don’t feel better!? �� In all seriousness, I am creating this space for you to have a resource where you’ll find tutorials, great deals, and inspiration to build the life you deserve. Currently, for me, that includes learning to use power tools to make my designs come to life. I have finally found the outlet I need to be authentically me which is sometimes a lot. In a nutshell, you can expect me to be quite goofy, too fast-paced, and caring. I care so deeply about each one of you and I am so thankful that we get to create this little community where we can all inspire each other to learn, design, and be REAL!
